ACTIVITY 1 Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCA to record your insights.
ACTIVITY 2 Map a Complex Issue at Your Workplace
Similar to the activity you did with your group, map a complex issue at your workplace or relevant to your profession. Be creative in how you organize your map. You can make your map quickly; or, you can work on your map iteratively over a couple of days / week. How does the process of mapping the complex issue affect your understanding of the issue? What happens when you look at the issue visually versus when you only think about it — what is different?
ACTIVITY 3 Create a Blog Post
Think about what you learned in this lab about navigating complex issues. What was the main takeaway or big insight you had from this lab? Write a 3-5 paragraph blog post about your insight. Add 2-3 additional research references and/or quotes to expand your insight.
