Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 52SKAQ to record your insights.
Activity 2 – Self-Reflection
Set aside 30 minutes to self-reflect on your engagement with the ideas and your cohort. What understandings are you taking forward? What skills or practices can you see now that would be useful? How can you continue to practice so that this becomes part of who you are becoming? Identify clearly what is different now, for you, after completing this topic. Do you have new choices? If you have little or nothing to take forward, how do you explain this? What might be the implications?
Activity 3 – Teaching as Learning
Identify two or more key ideas from this topic and design a 10-minute Teach-It lesson to give to a colleague. You will probably need visual aids and examples/stories to help get the ideas across. Once you have given your lesson, ask your “student” what he/she took away and understood. Then redesign your lesson, and give it to a different person – and ask. Write up your insights.
