Introduction
Educator David Morse created the Triad Education model identifying three styles of learning and assessing: Independent, Interdependent, and Dependent. Over-reliance on Dependent Learning promotes unhealthy behavior. Morse advocated negotiated (Interdependent) learning and assessment between student and authority. Ultimately, education systems function best when there is an equal distribution of these three styles.
