WindTunneling Analog
Introduction
The paper and pencil (analog) version of WindTunneling has been used in many applications. We can bring together multiple, diverse perspectives, test them for resilience, and open the door to innovations. WindTunneling builds on the experiential knowledge of everyone in the group. We look across strategies and scenarios to find patterns and derive insights that generate more possibilities and greater resilience in our strategies and operations.
In this process, people develop new ideas for innovation, and new opportunities emerge. WindTunneling has another benefit: as people have more conversations, and accelerate knowledge sharing among themselves, they strengthen communication patterns, healthy relationships, and confidence in one another. Healthy relationships foster resilience and better prepare people to navigate complexity and chaos.
