ACTIVITY 1     Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCG to record your insights.

ACTIVITY 2     Give a Presentation

Prepare a 5-7 minute presentation based on the activity you did with your lab participants. Your presentation should have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Discuss what you learned in the activity about complex issues, your mindset, and about the way your organization currently responds to complexity. If you are new to giving presentations, write a script. If you have more practice, create an outline. Record yourself making your presentation. Write a 1-2 paragraph synopsis evaluating your presentation and the content that you delivered.

ACTIVITY 3     My Big Switch Knowledge Map

Using the chalkboard photo as an example, create a knowledge map. Title the map, My Big Switch. In whatever way that makes sense to you, reflect on each of the mindset switches and consider where you are in your ability to toggle between the two mindsets. Use this knowledge map as a way to reflect on your conscious development as a leader and supporter. Where are you strong and where do you need to build strength? Remember, we want to add to our skills and knowledge, not take away. Expanding our mindset gives us more ways to respond to life and the various situations we encounter.
