Step 1
Prepare an exploration of the next 10 years of your professional life on a large sheet of paper.
Choose something you want to learn and develop for the next 10 years with the goal of being able to do original work.
Step 2
Consider these questions:
Where do you want to enter a path of mastery?
Where are you willing to enter a disciplined path of learning that will enable you to develop an original work?
Imagine this approaching decade. Use van Houten’s diagram to think through your learning path. Imagine the experiences, resources, and time you will need to do this.
