Activity 1 – Favorite Functions: Personal, Professional and Community

Step 1

Start working independently. Arrange your paper in three sections for your personal, professional, and community life. Design your sections however you like, e.g, use columns or circles.

 

Step 2

Look at the descriptors. In each section (personal, professional, community) identify your three favorite functions of managing. Your favorite functions may be different in the three areas.

 

Step 3

Share your maps in a small group (3 people). Highlight the consistencies or patterns among your maps. This is a way of giving us a picture of ourselves and seeing how others interact with their own responsibilities.
