Activity 1 – Mapping Purpose and Motivation

Step 1

Map activities in your life against the spectrum of purpose and motivation.

On a large sheet of paper, draw the Purpose and Motivation Spectrum. Choose three different colored pens to indicate personal, professional, and community experiences

 

Step 2

Sketch 1-2 sentences about how your purpose relates to your motivation in different situations along the spectrum in each of the three areas: personal, professional, and community.

 

Step 3

Spend 10 minutes with a partner sharing your maps.
