Coherence Mapping

ACTIVITY 1 Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCAB to record your insights.
ACTIVITY 2 Teaching as Learning
Prepare a short presentation to teach a colleague and a friend about Coherence Mapping. Use the chalkboard from the lab as a visual tool or make a visual tool using the chalkboard as a reference.
Based on participant feedback from your presentations, how well do you understand the idea of coherence mapping? What questions do you still have about the technique?
ACTIVITY 3 Synthesis
Spend 10-30 minutes quietly reflecting on this lab. Consider the ways you could use coherence mapping in your work. How could this potentially improve the way you work as individually and as a team? What would be different from the way you work now? What would have to change within your organization to make coherence mapping a part of your working culture?
