ACTIVITY 1 Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCE to record your insights.
ACTIVITY 2 Teaching as Learning
Prepare a brief 3-5 minute presentation to teach some of your work colleagues about the sense-making framework. Give your presentation at least twice. What questions come up for you or for your colleagues during the presentation?
ACTIVITY 3 Sense-Making Framework
On a sheet of paper, draw the sense-making framework. Create an inventory of the issues that you deal with at your job organized by the four categories of the framework.
Does looking at your work from this perspective change how you might organize your work priorities or make decisions?
What might happen if your whole organization organized work using this framework?
