Activity 1 – Drafting an Effective Proposal

Step 1

Working with 1 or 2 other people, imagine, in your organization, an innovation that you would like to take up. Have a conversation about that innovation.

Step 2

Write a 1-sentence opportunity statement for the innovation.
 

Step 3

Begin to lay out the one-page map of the ideas you would like to bring forward to the person or people who would be receiving your proposal. Craft the schematic of a 1-page proposal.

Step 4

Next, identify what you would need to do to move this into a full proposal and an appendix.
