Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 44DST to record your insights.
Activity 2 – Teaching as Learning
Create a 5-10 minute presentation to teach about the path of the adopter. Prepare a map showing the path of the adopter to use as a visual tool. Teach two colleagues how it works. After you teach it the first time, ask your colleague what they understood from your presentation. Take notes. Redesign your presentation and give it to another colleague. Reflect on your two presentations, write 1-2 paragraphs reflecting on what you learned.
Activity 3 – Map the Path of an Adopter
Similar to the activity you practiced in the lab, create another knowledge map but this time focused on an innovation in your workplace that you are selling or sharing. Reflect on the path of the adopter and make notes about how your customers or stakeholders have adopted the innovation. What new insights does this give you about the product, service, or idea you are offering?
