Activity 1 – Exploring The Path of the Adopter

Step 1

Begin working by yourself. Fold a sheet of paper in the middle.

 

Step 2

Consider two distinct innovations (product, service or idea) you adopted in the past year. Use these innovations to label each side of the paper.

 

Step 3

Draw a path of the adopter for each innovation. Reflect on each step of the path and your decision-making process. Take notes on your map.

Step 4

In pairs, use your knowledge maps to tell each other the stories of your adoption pathway for both innovations.
