Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 44DSQ to record your insights.
Activity 2 – Sharing as Learning
Continue to develop the ecosystem map you began in the lab. When you think you have filled it out comprehensively, share your ecosystem map with at least two different colleagues at work. Talk through your thinking about the issue you were mapping and how the process of mapping the ecosystem affected your thinking about the work you are doing.
Ask your colleagues if there are other players that should go on the map.
How does talking about your innovation with an ecosystem map shape the conversation? What did you learn about your work by sharing your map with your colleagues?
Activity 3 – Short Essay
How does focusing on relationships related to your innovation help you refine opportunities, strategies, or shape your understanding of the problem you are addressing? As a social entrepreneur, why do relationships matter to what you are doing? Why does seeing the landscape of relationships related to your issue matter?
Write 3-5 paragraphs.
