Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 23ACAC to record your insights.
Activity 2 – Core Concept Expansion
Find a colleague at work who wasn’t in the lab with you. Prepare a short presentation to teach them about the Core Concept Expansion. Tell them why this matters and how it works. As part of your presentation, tell them about your personal experience from the lab and refining two of your statements. What elements of the expansion technique made the most significant impact on how you refined your statements?
Activity 3 – Refining Higher Purpose with Core Concepts
Building on the activity from the lab, refine your three higher purpose statements from your map. Create a new knowledge map with three columns. At the top of each column write your current higher purpose statement. Circle all of the core concepts. In the column below, work through the concepts of each higher purpose one at a time taking them through the Core Concept Expansion. Refine your higher purpose statements.
