Activity 2 – Opportunity/Barrier Organization Audit

 

Step 1

Work in groups of three. Based on your collective experiences in your organization, identify areas where there would be a positive reception of moving from Leader/Follower to Leading/Supporting.

 

Step 2

Identify 1-2 areas where you think there would be receptivity to the Leading/Supporting structure and it would be useful for the organization to switch

 

Make a simple Opportunity/Barrier Map using the chalkboard as a reference.

 

For each area identified, state the opportunity. What are the barriers to this opportunity? List each barrier.

 

Step 3

Work with another group and compare maps.
