Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 52SKAD to record your insights.

Activity 2 – Building Healthy Relationships Knowledge Map

Create a knowledge map to build on the questions during the group discussion in the lab.

What purposes of Giving Feedback are my habits or come easily?
What areas of Giving Feedback can I deepen and develop?
What are the relationships or patterns that I see between Giving and Receiving Feedback?
How can I better offer feedback to build healthy relationships?

List the strategies you can pursue. How will you know if you are successful?

Activity 3 – Teaching As Learning

Identify two or more key ideas from this topic and design a 10-minute Teach-It lesson to give to a colleague.  You will probably need visual aids and examples or stories to help get the ideas across.  Once you have given your lesson, ask your “student” what he/she took away and understood.  Then redesign your lesson, and give it to a different person – and ask.  Write up your learnings and post.
