Asking for Feedback

Activity 1 – Asking for Feedback Hindsight

Step 1

On a sheet of paper and explore two examples from your past. Choose a presentation that you gave in the past or a body of work. Create a history for yourself.

If you do it again, how could you have shaped feedback to improve the quality of your work?

Step 2

Practice shaping the feedback that you might receive. In hindsight, what kind of feedback would have helped you improve your work? You can use the examples from the lab chalkboard. There could be additional elements that you could use.

Step 3

Clarifying your purpose. You can have more than one reason for asking. Be honest with yourself.
