Three Horizon Mapping

ACTIVITY 1 Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCZ to record your insights.
ACTIVITY 2 Teaching as Learning
On a large sheet of paper, draw a Three Horizon Map. Use this as a visual tool to describe the process to a colleague who wasn’t in the lab. You will have to explain to them how to use the Opportunity Statement Form and how you work with another person to fill out the map.
What questions did they ask? What did you notice about your presentation?
ACTIVITY 3 Self-Reflection
Write 1-3 paragraphs recounting your experience working with your partner. What was the process like? What did you observe about yourself, your collaboration, and the group as a whole in the Three Horizon Mapping activity?
