Systemic and Scientific Methods

ACTIVITY 1 Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCM to record your insights.
ACTIVITY 2 Teaching as Learning
Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation that contrasts the Scientific Method with systemic methods. How are they the same? How are they different? Explain how systemic methods are comparably rigorous with the Scientific Method. Create a visual display for your presentation.
After you have taught this lesson 2-3 times, write a 1-paragraph synopsis of what you learned.
ACTIVITY 3 Synthesis
Write a short synopsis of the top three ideas you had from this lab presentation and activity.
