ACTIVITY 1     Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 77NCK to record your insights.

ACTIVITY 2     Write a Blog

Write a short blog about the five properties of systems: purpose, boundary, hierarchy, coherence, emergence. Research the properties. Add at least one reference, quote, or detail for each property to your blog.

ACTIVITY 3     Synthesis

Take 10-30 minutes to reflect on the lab and the knowledge maps that you created.

What insights come to you now?

What other systems could you explore in a similar way that could be useful to your work?
