Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 44DSAB  to record your insights.

Activity 2 – Self-Reflection

Reflecting on the activity and the feedback you received, where could you use some work with how you introduce yourself? Consider the three main areas: personal space, speaking your name, and handshaking. How can you take this practice into your professional networking life to improve the quality of your relationships and your reputation?

Activity 3 – Introduce Yourself 30-Second Message

Design a 30-second message to tell a person you are meeting for the first time about yourself. In first-time professional interactions, it is common for people to ask “what do you do?” This is your chance to tell a memorable story about yourself and your social innovation. Write a script to help refine your ideas and message. Video record your presentation and fine tune. Practice as our network. Continually improve your message.
