Step 1

Start looking at the elements of a dynamic social innovation initiative by creating three knowledge maps on large pieces of paper for the following areas. You can do this alone or with a group.

Knowledge Map 1: Beneficiary
What does your end-client beneficiary need? What do you know? What don’t you know or wish you knew? How can you find that out?

Knowledge Map 2: Ecosystem
What is the ecosystem around the issue you want to serve?

 

Step 4

Knowledge Map 3: Social Marketing
What are you are interested in providing? What offering is unique to you/your team? Draft value statement propositions for your 3 audiences (beneficiaries, existing ecosystem players, social marketing).
