Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 23ACAD to record your insights.

Activity 2 – Facilitate Conversation Mapping

Practice facilitating a conversation mapping activity with 4-5 colleagues at work. Identify a key word from one of your higher purpose statements to explore. Since this is your first conversation mapping activity, keep it simple and work on only one concept. Explain to your colleagues how the process will work. Take 7-9 minutes to fill out the map. Then invite them to become investigative journalists with you and explore the map for patterns, themes, and emergent ideas. Write these down.

What did you learn ?

Activity 3 – Self Reflection

Spend some quiet time reflecting on core concepts and the different ways you have explored words. What are you learning about your thinking habits? How can these various strategies help you cultivate professional maturity? Record your insights.
