Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing
Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.
Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 23ACZ to record your insights.
Activity 2 – Practicing Significance + Certainty
Think of a decision you have made recently. List at least 10 assumptions that sit under your decision. Arrange them in order of significance. Create a fraction that rates your certainty. What information would help raise your certainty on the three most significant assumptions?
Activity 3 – Practicing Significance and Certainty in Your Organization
Work with a colleague. Think of a decision your organization made recently. List at least 10 assumptions that sit under that decision. From your perspective, arrange the assumptions in order of significance and rate your organization’s certainty. What information would help raise the organization’s certainty on the three most significant assumptions? Can you recall a decision your organization made with low certainty? What were the consequences?
