Activity 1 – Accelerating Knowledge Sharing

Each Catalytic Thinking Lab is supported by a WindTunneling project. WindTunneling is a systemic methodology to accelerate learning and knowledge sharing. Share what you learned from the lab transparently and anonymously. Compare your thinking and respond to the ideas of others. Everyone gets to see every idea; no one knows who shared which idea.

Go to WindTunneling. Use Project Code 23ACAG to record your insights.

Activity 2 – Building Inference Banks for Opportunities

Continue the activity from Inferences Lab. Make an inference bank for every opportunity you have been crafting on your 3-Column Statement Map.

As you you create new insights from your banks, revise your opportunity statements accordingly.

Activity 3 – Building Inference Banks to Explore Topical Issues

Watch a TedTalk (or any topical presentation) in an area of interest. Choose 2-3 alleged facts or conditions that the speaker discusses. Put them together.

Ask, “If these alleged facts are true, then _____________?”

Create an inference bank and write a short synopsis of your findings. Include a summary of the talk and the initial facts/conditions that you used in your inference.
